i'm back (: home sweet home haha.

it wasn't quite what i expected, but it was fun all the same.

1. food. the food was nice (: the buffet food wasn't too good, but the two restaurants served really nice food (: ate like a pig, and i'm sure i am one now. the desserts were the nicest. haha. apple pie, orange sherbet, lots and lots and lots of cakes..... yup, you get the idea (: and the chinese food was quite nice too, although i still think the western was nicer.

2. room. my whole family [four people] were crammed into this tiny tiny little stateroom. and i had this bed that was on top of another bed, but mine wasn't supported by anything besides the wall. and i was quite terrified that the bed would fall off -.- or i would fall off the bed. which was a whole lot more possible. oh, and the toilets are scary. because they flush with this very loud sound. something like plane toilets. and you could feel the ship vibrating [the engines?] sometimes. thank goodness the cabin was on deck eight, so it wasn't too bad. because i went down to deck four once, and it was a lot worse. and you could hear a sort of humming sound too. scary.

3. activities. the bad bad weather [it rained almost continuously] was irritating. and i didn't do much, actually. played a bit of mini golf with my brother, but gave up after realising i couldn't hit the ball at all. didn't swim or anything. the jacuzzi was nice, but it was always full of people =\ walked around the ship a lot, and stood at the place outside the inside of the ship [is it called the deck?] to watch the ship going through the water a lot, too. quite cool, to see the waves the ship made. but the ship seemed to travel very very slowly. watched a show with acrobats and dancers and stuff. quite intersting, and very amazing to see the people do such amazing stuff.

4. kuala lumpur. boring. i was bored to death the whole time. the ride to and from the port took so long and the bus was always freezing. and when we got to kl it was raining really heavily. so we didn't do much - just wandered around the shops a bit. i don't see anything particularly interesting about kl, really.

yup. i guess that's it. it wasn't as fun as i expected, really. but it was still fun (:
